Résumé : |
"The effects of electron correlation on binding energies and on forces in gases and in dense media are surveyed in this volume. Particular emphasis is placed on cases where correlation effects are strong enough to alter even the qualitative aspects of models constructed solely on the basis of orbital theory. Recent developments are stressed through-out the book.
Among the topics covered are: interactions betweeen electrons and dense media; intermolecular forces in gases, liquids and solids; solvent effects; and electron correlation in metals and systems of infinite extent." |
