Single particle nanocatalysis / Xu, Weilin
Titre : Single particle nanocatalysis : Fundamentals and applications Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Xu, Weilin, Auteur ; Zhang, Yuwei, Auteur ; Chen, Tao, Auteur Editeur : Wiley-VCH Verlag Année de publication : 2019 Importance : xii, 289 p. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-527-34329-4 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Catalyse Tags : CATALYSIS TRANSITION METAL CATALYSTS NANOCHEMISTRY Index. décimale : B-E Résumé : This unique book introduces and summarizes the recent development of single molecule/particle nanocatalysis to provide both comprehensive coverage of fundamentals for different methods now in widespread use and the extensive applications in different catalytic systems. Chapters are mainly based on different detection methods, including single molecule fluorescence microscopy, surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy, X-ray microscopy, and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy. The book also includes numerous basic principles of different methods and application examples and features illustrations that help clarify presentations.
Single Particle Nanocatalysis: Fundamentals and Applications starts with the history and development of single molecule techniques for nanocatalysis. It then shows readers how single molecule fluorescence microscopy (SMFM) reveals catalytic kinetics and dynamics of individual nanocatalysts. Next, it examines traditional SMFM-based single molecule nanocatalysis without super-resolution (SR) imaging, before moving on to the topic of SMFM-based SR imaging in single molecule nanocatalysis. Following chapters cover scanning electrochemical microscopy for single particle nanocatalysis; surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy for single particle nanocatalysis/reactions; X-ray-based microscopy of single-particle nanocatalysis; and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy for single particle nanocatalysis. The book finishes by introducing some less-practiced techniques for single particle nanocatalysis/electrochemistry.

Titre : Solid state NMR : Principles, methods and applications Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Müller, Klaus, Auteur ; Geppi, Marco, Auteur Editeur : Wiley-VCH Verlag Année de publication : 2021 Importance : xx, 539 p. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-527-31816-2 Note générale : Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful non-destructive technique capable of providing information about the molecular structure and dynamics of molecules. Alongside solution-state NMR, a well-established technique to study chemical structures and investigate physico-chemical properties of molecules in solutions, solid-state NMR (SSNMR) offers many exciting possibilities for the analysis of solid and soft materials across scientific fields. SSNMR shows unique capabilities for a detailed investigation of structural and dynamic properties of materials over wide space and time ranges. For this reason, and thanks to significant advances in the past several years, the application of SSNMR to materials is rapidly increasing in disciplines such as chemistry, physics, and materials and life sciences. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Technologies, Méthodes, Réactions Tags : NMR Index. décimale : B-B Résumé : Solid State NMR: Principles, Methods, and Applications offers a systematic introduction to the theory, methodological concepts, and major experimental methods of SSMR spectroscopy. Exploring the unique potential of SSNMR for the structural and dynamic characterization of soft and either amorphous or crystalline solid materials, this comprehensive textbook provides foundational knowledge and recent developments of SSNMR, covering physical and theoretical background, experimental methods, and applications to pharmaceuticals, polymers, inorganic and hybrid materials, liquid crystals, and model membranes. Written by two expert authors to ensure a clear and consistent presentation of the subject, this textbook:
Includes a brief introduction to the historical aspects and broad theoretical background of solid-state NMR spectroscopy
Provides helpful illustrations to explain the various SSNMR concepts and methods
Features accessible descriptive text with self-consistent use of quantum mechanics
