NMR SPECTROSCOPY ORGANIC COMPOUNDS-Analysis |
Index. décimale : |
B-B |
Résumé : |
"This book describes the most important high-resolution NMR techniques that find use in the structure elucidation of organic molecules and the investigation of their behavior in solution.
The techniques are presented and explained using pictorial formats wherever possible, limiting the number of mathematical descriptions. The emphasis is on the more recently developed methods of solution-state NMR spectroscopy with a considerable amount of information on implementation and on the setting of critical parameters for anyone wishing to exploit these methods.
* Presents a large number of examples to demonstrate the utility of the methods covered
* Serves the needs of students and professionals in every chemistry laboratory
* Describes the most important methods available, with guidance on execution of experiments" |

NMR SPECTROSCOPY ORGANIC COMPOUNDS-Analysis |
Index. décimale : |
EQ -Equipe- |
Résumé : |
"From the initial observation of proton magnetic resonance in water and in paraffin, the discipline of nuclear magnetic resonance has seen unparalleled growth as an analytical method. Modern NMR spectroscopy is a highly developed, yet still evolving, subject which finds application in chemistry, biology, medicine, materials science and geology.
In this book, emphasis is on the more recently developed methods of solution-state NMR applicable to chemical research, which are chosen for their wide applicability and robustness. These have, in many cases, already become established techniques in NMR laboratories, in both academic and industrial establishments. A considerable amount of information and guidance is given on the implementation and execution of the techniques described in this book." |

MOLECULAR STRUCTURE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS-Analysis NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE SPECTROSCOPY |
Index. décimale : |
B-B |
Résumé : |
"This book contains 30-40 quality 2D NMR data sets following an introductory section describing the methodology employed. Many other books describe the methods used, but none offer a large number of problems. Instructors at universities and colleges at the present time are forced to cobble together problems from a wide range of sources. The fragmentary approach to assembling course materials has a negative impact on course continuity and thus adversely impacts student retention. This book will stand as a single source to which instructors and students can go to obtain a comprehensive compendium of NMR problems of varying difficulty.
Presents strategies for assigning resonances to known structures and for deducing structures of unknown organic molecules based on their NMR spectra.
Contains 20 known and 20 unknown structure determination problems.
Features a supporting website from which instructors can download the structures of the unknowns in selected chapters, digital versions of all figures, and raw data sets for processing." |
