CATALYSTS CATALYSIS ORGANIC COMPOUNDS-Synthesis |
| Index. décimale : |
B-E |
| Résumé : |
"The authors focus on the design and development of novel high-performance catalysts for applications in organic synthesis (particularly asymmetric synthesis), covering a broad range of topics, from the latest progress in Lewis acid / Brønsted base catalysis to e.g. metal-assisted organo catalysis, cooperative metal/enzyme catalysis, and cooperative catalysis in polymerization reactions and on solid surfaces. The chapters are classified according to the type of cooperating activating groups, and describe in detail the different strategies of cooperative activation, highlighting their respective advantages and pitfalls. As a result, readers will learn about the different concepts of cooperative catalysis, their corresponding modes of operation and their applications, thus helping to find a solution to a specific synthetic catalysis problem." |

CATALYSTS ALKENES |
| Index. décimale : |
B-E |
| Résumé : |
"This first book to illuminate this important aspect of chemical synthesis improves the lifetime of catalysts, thus reducing material and saving energy, costs and waste.
The international panel of expert authors describes the studies that have been conducted concerning the way homogeneous catalysts decompose, and the differences between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts.
The result is a ready reference for organic, catalytic, polymer and complex chemists, as well as those working in industry and with/on organometallics." |

ORGANOMETALLIC CHEMISTRY TRANSITION METAL CATALYSTS CATALYSTS LIGANDS |
| Index. décimale : |
B-E |
| Résumé : |
"Serving as a user's manual for synthetic organic and catalytic chemists, this book guides chemists in the design and choice of ligands to catalyze organic reactions and apply the results for more efficient, green, and practical synthesis.
* Focuses on the role of ligands in metal complexes that catalyze green organic transformations: a hot topic in the area of organic synthesis and green chemistry
* Offers a comprehensive resource to help readers design and choose ligands and understand selectivity/reactivity characteristics
* Addresses a gap by taking novel ligand approaches and including up-to-date discussion on hydrogen transfers and reactions
* Presents important industrial perspective and provides rational explanations of ligand effects, impacts, and novelty." |

| Résumé : |
"This handbook and ready reference brings together all significant issues of practical importance in selected topics discussing recent significant achievements for interested readers in one single volume. While covering homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, the text is unique in focusing on such important aspects as using different reaction media, microwave techniques or catalyst recycling. It also provides a comprehensive treatment of key issues of modern-day coupling reactions having emerged and matured in recent years and emphasizes those topics that show potential for future development, such as continuous flow systems, water as a reaction medium, and catalyst immobilization, among others. |
