Molecular complexes: A lecture and reprint volume / Robert S. Mulliken
Titre : Molecular complexes: A lecture and reprint volume Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Robert S. Mulliken ; Willis B. Person, Éditeur scientifique Editeur : New York : John Wiley & Sons Année de publication : 1969 Importance : xv, 498 p. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-0-471-62370-0 Note générale : "Based on some lectures given at the University of Chicago, supplemented by a reprinting of several relevant journal articles." Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Chimie théorique Tags : COMPLEX COMPOUNDS MOLECULAR COMPLEXES MOLECULES SPECTRA Index. décimale : B-H Résumé : "Molecular complexes is divided into tow sections. The first contains eighteen chapters adapted from lectures. The subject of these lectures range from reviews of relatively basic topics such as "Simplified Resonance-Structure Theory" and "The Geometrical Configurations of Complexes" to more specialized discussions on "Energy Parameters, Potential Surfaces, and Charge-Transfer Spectra" and "Intramolecular Donor-Acceptor Action." This section concludes with a postscript on some general considerations of molecular compounds and their spectra. Throughout, the content of the original lecturers has been rearranged and revised, enlarged, and. updated, and a considerable amount of previously unpublished material has been included.
The second part of Molecular Complexes contains fifteen reprints of articles originally published in professional journals that bear on the subject. A list of general references; a partial glossary of symbols, and an index conclude the volume."Cote : B-H020 (SdS) Num_Inv : 399 Molecular complexes: A lecture and reprint volume [texte imprimé] / Robert S.
